My hp was making a clicking noise & the hour glass was always on, & would not do naything. I found people with the same pblms & they gave some instructions on cleaning the scanning glass & the print bar putting a deop of bike oil on each end of the bar. It was the same though when I put it back together.
I then powered it down as I found another cure & held the on button for three min. I guess something like draining a capacator, anyway this worked, everything worked for a day. Next day my phone went out as I had the ptr plugged into the line for it's fax function. I tried everything but a short is comming out of it hosing up my telephone line. Anyone heard of such a mess.
