Hp 553 color fading issue

Do you think this is caused by a bad fuser?

I would suspect a bad cyan cartridge, or you could try cleaning it. Actually the first thing I would do, pull all of the cartridges and clean the interior thoroughly, reinstall the cartridges and check again. If the problem persists, consider replacing the cyan cartridge. I'm assuming the lighter area runs along the feed direction.
