My HP 5650 is scrogged.
1.At 1st, no paper would feed and the the resume light and power light would blink, press resume liget, cartridges would move, feed wheels would spin, but no paper; cut it off and cut it on and paper would feed.
2. Changed the black cartridge to photo ( to print a picture) , and it did not feed, went through same sequence as in 1. but still no feed; changed back to black cartridge, still no feed.
3. Pulled back cover off and watched the sequesnce and noticed that the boyyom platform was not moving up; manually rotated wheels both ways and the bottom snapped up. Put cover on, hit the resume button and one piece of paper feedthrough and out, the bottom snapped back down and the resume light came back on.
4. Assume that I have a loose connection or something electrical is not working, but have no idea how to disassemble or what to check.
Any solutions, advice or direction will be appreciated.
