Trying to print a multi-page PDF file using Windows XP home 32 bit and a HP Deskjet 6500A All-in-one connected by USB.
It seems at random...
either several lines in a page or a whole page will be smears across the page. The smear (my term) is at least 3/16th wide at the right hand side of the page and goes down to a line width on the left hand side of the page.
It is less than a year old but has been doing it for some time. HP is not a lot of help. I tried to check the warranty but didn't have any satisfaction that I did it to suit them.
