hp c5580, turns on by itself

I turn it off at night. In the morning it's on, with 4 lights flashing.When I press the start button, it just keeps flashing until I unplug it from 120 volt source. After I plug it back, it usually works OK, but after not using it for several hours the flashing starts again.
