Greetings,
I have an HP MFP 479fdw laser printer. The printer was sent in for repairs through a secondary warranty (through Staples) for some minor printing issues with the cyan (still usable). It was sent back as "fixed". I discovered the printer now to be in significantly worse condition and cyan toner all over the inside. The K,M,Y all print just fine. The cyan print quality is now completely unusable. Tried different cartridges, maintenance / cleaning all done. Even set printer back to factory defaults. Staples said to send it back and I did not have the time and bought another printer. The cyan is showing like a cross hatch pattern in streaks. Some streaks you can see are from the drum revolving (light to dark) and some streaks run 90 degrees to the others, like the drum was dirty but it was cleaned. I even swapped chips from the cyan and put the cyan chip on the magenta cartridge and magenta chip on the cyan cartridge and it was still the cyan position in the tray that was causing the problem but now with the magenta. Hopefully someone has a solution. I know there is one.
Thanks
Jerry
