I've been printing envelopes on this printer for years, now all of a sudden I get "Out of Paper" errors when I try to print #10 envelopes.
I know that this issue is only with envelopes, because when I print the envelopes from the mail merge with regular 8.5 x 11 paper, it prints. The only way I can get it to print on the envelopes is by "sneaking" envelopes in the feeder while it's printing. Once those envelopes are empty, it says "Out of Paper" (as it should), but when I refill it with envelopes, it fails to load them and I get stuck in the "Out of Paper" loop.
Any suggestions?
I've tried resetting it via unplugging the power cord, but that hasn't helped. I ran a firmware check, and it has the latest firmware.
I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it didn't detect any printing issues.
I changed the "Paper Size" drop-down in the print properties to "Envelope #10", and that didn't fix the issue either.
