HP P2055d - Driver can't be installed and HP has no solution

Hi,

I have an HP P2055d printer.
After switching from Windows 7 to Windows 10, several printer features were missing (recto/verso printing, possibility to check toner cartridge, ...). The reason was that my original printer driver could not be installed in Windows 10.

I rang HP; they told me no printer driver for Windows 10 was developed or would be developed in the future.

In the meantime I could restore the recto/verso printing capacity, but the other features (especially receiving a message when the toner cartridge is nearly empty) still don't work.

Anyone else who has been confronted with this HP incompetence?
And is there anyone who could restore all the printer features anyway?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

And even worse today: I got a Windows 10 update; after that the HP P2055d printer is completely gone.
It's one way or another uninstalled by the update.
No way to reinstall it: the original dvd doesn't work (thanks to HP) and the printer is not automatically recognized when I switch it on (before this was a possibillity to install it).
How do I get my printer back?
