Jagged grey lines on Epson v370

Hi, I have an Epson Perfection v370 scanner which I use on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.14.6. I have updated the scanner drivers. It used to work really well, but has now started an issue with scans of photos. It introduces jagged, horizontal, grey lines, as on the example below. Does anyone know if there is a software fix for this?
