Leary of cheap printer on craigslist

New user here; looking at purchasing a supposed scratch and dent Toshiba 4520c from someone on craigslist in FL. The big thing that makes me nervous about it is the fact that he has ads throughout the state with the same verbiage- that he is a pilot and his "side gig" is printers, and he also fixes any problems for a lower rate than his competetion. The price on this particular model is $1575 through him, and comparable from other sources ($1300-$1600 on ebay).

Has anyone dealt with a man named "Mick" or heard any similar horror or success stories?
