I just replaced the main drive because the gear that drives the fuser had worn so badly that it couldn't make contact. Now in less than a month and a half, the gear has worn again. I have not been able to find anyone that sells just the gear, so it means another main drive purchase. However, I'm afraid that the problem will just reoccur. Does anyone know why this gear would wear so badly?
