LQ 2190 alignment Problem

Hi!

We have purchased new Epson 2190 Printers but the Alignment on the page is not correct through our software. We tried to change the paper size and also made a new Form, also tried leaving some margin from Top but still it starts printing a little above than the required field. The same settings work fine on Epson 2180 but not on 2190. We need the printer to start printing the first line after leaving some margin from the top but the printer takes and paper backward then forward and then start printing.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks.

Check out this user manual:

7. Pause button
Stops printing temporarily, and resumes printing when pressed again.
Micro Adjust
When you hold down the Pause button for three seconds, the printer enters the Micro Adjust mode. In this mode, you can adjust the top-of-form and tear-off positions by pressing the LF/FF and Load/Eject buttons. See Advancing the Paper to the Tear-Off Edge.
