First, I appreciate any help here.
I have read the documentation on this new (to me) printer. Set up was a snap and it works well. The duplex feature is an enormous help.

What I have not found is a way to "turn off" the blinking hone light while the unit is in standby/sleep mode. My current "fix" is a nicely cut patch of black electrical tape over the light.

Again, any help appreciated and I will follow this printer as send along tips as I find them.

All the best,

Found out that the Home light cannot be defeated... Well it can with electrical tape.

The "Brother Print" app on my phone works without a hitch as well.

The only downer is that to scan a document to file from the desktop, you must first open the Brother service pak then open the scanning software. An unnecessary extra step IMHO.
