MFC9840cdw not printing

I am networking two PC's with Windows7, both worked without a problem for months. Then one day neither PC will print or scan from the PC's. I tested it with my laptop that I dual boot with Windows7 & Linux (Ubuntu) and it prints without a problem. Now what I have done is I let Windows Look & find & install the drivers on the problem PC's & it made a copy of the printer in the device & printer page. Now both printers will print but print only nothing else. One PC is hard wired to the router & the other is wireless. The laptop that I tested was wireless. What's wrong?
