Need Recommendation for AIO that can function as B/W only

Can anyone recommend an all-in-one machine (I need fax, scan, print, copy) that either is made as black/white only, or that can function as such (don't need to keep refilling color inks). I never print in color, but all the machines that I have found use up the color ink quickly for "washing" when I turn it on, and then I have to keep refilling the ink even though I never actually use it. The machine won't work at all (even to scan!) if any of the color ink is empty. Is there a machine that is just black/white? Or that can continue to function even when the color ink is empty?

Also, I don't use my printer heavily, so I'm hoping to find one in the lower price ranges. Hoping to stay under $150.

This has been an ongoing frustration over several years, and has also been costing me a fortune. Thanks in advance.
