The Office Manager has asked me to make a recommendation for a combination Business Card Scanner and 8 1/2 x 11 paper scanner. She wants:
Network configurable
Twain Compliant
auto-feed for paper (not flatbed)
separate slot for business cards.
The reason for the separate slot for business cards is that she does not want the receptionists to have to reduce a large scan down to the size of a business card, adding an extra step. This is for a small, two-doctor medical practice and they do about 30 scans a day, but this may increase as Obamacare takes over and starts making them do things differently.
