Hello All,

Just joined and need a bit of help.

I have lost the discs that came with both my HP Officejet Pro K5400 and my HP PhotoSmart 1215.

I have a feeling the did not survive my last move and have been lost in the shuffle.

I need to obtain a copy of the Drivers and Software that were on the discs, for at least for one of the printers.

It is to enable me to print off some personal Birthday Greetings and other pieces for my Granddaughter's 21st at the end of the month, her birthday is on Halloween and I call her my, "Li'l Witch".

I had not used either printer for a time, having had access to much newer ones at my place of work.

As I have now retired and no longer have the luxury of any free printer to use, I was in the process of doing a clean install on my computer, due to fried hard drive and realised that the requisite discs for my printers were AWOL.

Up until that point, I had not been worried because I had been very organised and believed I had access to all that I needed to carry out such a procedures.

Naturally, I had backed up all my personal files but had not bothered with the OS or associated files, intending to use the manufacturers discs to reinstall everything.

I have tried many different website to try and obtain what I need over the last few days but have been unsuccessful

The HP site does not list them anymore and states that they have disposed of them.

Many of the sites that purport to offer them, including the likes of FileHippo, just link the enquirer to the HP site, which is of no real help.

It seems that gone are the days that such sites actually held the files on their own servers.

Hopefully, someone on here will have the requisite files and will allow me to download/acquire a cope by some means or other.

I would be most grateful if someone could either supply a copy of the files I need or point me in the direction of a safe and reliable source for me to obtain them.

Many thanks in advance.

All the Best,

Rob54.
