I have an Epson ET-2550 printer and a new computer with Windows 10. The printer preferences no longer has options for colour or black and white printing, simply prints colour. It's a completely different (and limited) preferences setup from my previous computer that ran Windows 7. I've set the Epson as my default printer, problem existed both before and after Windows 10 updates. Any thoughts? Thanks!

First, Here is your Printer Manual. See page 55 and onward for settings.

https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd4/cpd42914.pdf

You can download this manual and save it to your computer. Now do this:

Navigate as follows:

Control Panel -> Devices & Printers -> Right Click Your Printer Icon -> Select Printer Preferences

Under Main Tab you will see Black Only or Color Only Options on middle right hand side
Place a dot in either one of your choice

You can make other option selections under "More Options" tab

Page 65
Click Add/Remove all presets - Remove them until you become more proficient

Now see this explanation of Defaults here:

No, that is not the problem. I know how to choose colour preferences. The option to select a colour or black and white print simply did not show at all. However I did solve the issue by going to the Epson site and downloading printer driver updates compatibile with Windows 10 64bit. Now the full printer properties are accessible.
