One colour won't print

One (colour) of the six cartridges on my Epson Stylus Photo PX730WD has stopped printing anything, despite several head cleans, nozzle checks and cartridge renewal. No previous problems and other cartridges fine. USB connection to PC. Reluctant to dump the printer/scanner in case fix is economically practical.
