Printer / Copier Cleaning

Want to know if its "OK" to use a blower to blow away all the paper dust / loose toner from inside a printer?

I read somewhere to use a vacuum instead as the loose toner may cause affect the circuitry?

And advise be greatly appreciated.

BTW - i only can find cleaning from You Tube and its all on exterior cleaning.
