Printer on mobile power

I am a truck driver and up until now I have always used inkjet printers. I plug it into a power inverter and away it goes no problems at all. Except if it doesn't get used much then the Jets get clogged up and uses more ink then I want you to just for cleaning it. So I want to switch to a LaserJet that uses toner. My first one required 1000 watts and I learned that it needs at least two to three times the power on the power inverter to power it. Then I went and bought another printer that require 380 Watts. Since I have an 1800 watt power inverter I figured that would work. So far no luck. Does anybody have any clue of what kind of LaserJet printer will work on a standard power inverter. My power inverter is 1800 watts. I am at a loss. Somebody help
