Printer project going to wrong printer

Hello! I have a issue with sending a project to the hp 5550 which is selected, but then it decides to print to my usb printer 9800 instead. May do this once in awhile, sometimes two times in a row before actually going to the hp 5550 finally. Any ideas why and how to fix? thank you

Mac os 10.4 one printer via usb cable hp 9800, another thru the server hp 5550.
