printer warranty

I recently bought a ricoh printer at a yard sale. The seller had won the business printer at an expo and she didn't even own a computer. I think I got a great deal on it, but now I am wondering if the printer has a warranty. Ricoh warranty info states that the printer has a one year limited warranty, but does it have to be purchased directly from a dealer in order for the warrany to be valid?

If the documentation that you recieved with it says that it has a warranty, then most likely it does. You could call the warranty hotline and ask if it is still active.
