[QUOTE="Brenton Fixbly, post: 212874, member: 12109"] My work has eight printers that overnight all started getting the same error. (49.FF04) All of the printers are either an HP 4014 or and HP 4015. Relevant facts: There is a wide range of printers here. in the area of 100 printers of different models. The issue is only effecting HP 4014s and HP 4015s but not all of the printers of those models. About half the printers of that model are erroring and the other half are fine. All of this started on a Monday morning. No other models are affected If you unplug the network cable they will work fine indefinitely off of USB. We have tried updating firmware with no success Normally I would think hardware failure was the cause but it happened to eight printers all on the same day so that doesnt seem possible. The printers are statically given IP addresses but if that is taken away they still error out as soon as they get any IP address. The network team says that no updates, or changes of any kind were made over the weekend. It cant be bad print jobs because even if they get a new IP address they still fail immediately. Any ideas?
