Hi all. I'm curious what type of printer would be needed to print professional quality full-color and black and white documents on multiple part carbonless paper. I'm not so much interested in brochures or business cards (although that would be cool) just mainly interested in printing documents like invoices, proposals and other business forms.

I appreciate any help :)

Good question. The old dot-matrix Oki's were ok for multiple part paper, but only could handle trivial character-set graphics. Perhaps they could handle a layout for PacMan?

By "full color" do you mean photos? Or graphics like pie-charts, graphics?

Other than continuous tone, a plotter might be able to deal with multi-part paper.

To me, multi-part paper in one pass with excellent registration between pages implies impact, which ain't something any inkjet or chemistry printer could do.

I suppose if you are really curious, you could ask a medium to high end print shop.
