Red won't print correctly

Hi all,

I've got an Epson B1100 inkjet and the problem is that the red (100% Magenta) always comes out as a dark maroon colour.

I'm using refillable carts with ink that I've used in the past and it's always been O.K: until now.

I've downloaded up to date drivers, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I've also done several head cleans.

The odd thing is, the colour when printing from Microsoft Word is slightly better than printing from Corel X5, although it's not completely right.

Any ideas would be warmly welcomed.

Have you calibrated the monitor?
