Does anyone know a link or anywhere to get repair/service manuals for
printers ? I specifically need for a HP laserjet 4l and Epsons C40, and
    680. however i did once get several hundred mbs of pdf's of various printer
manuals from.... somewhere. Argghh i cant remember where it was, either
usenet or actually one by one off a website, anyway the point is they were
free. Does anyone have any ideas of where one can find such a nirvana for
    printer manuals ?

    http://www.eserviceinfo.com/equipment_type/Printers_22.html has many free
    manuals.
There used to be a source of free manuals at www.fixyourownprinter.com but it
was removed due to bandwidth problems. This was several GB in size and for some
time was available as a Torrent but not sure any more. Otherwise you can buy
most of the manuals you may need from a couple of places.

    Tom,
Fixyourownprinter website is full of scums, they are liars, have loads of
service manuals. Never trust them, I use to use that site and its nothing
but useless, the advice does not work only 50% of it works, i asked advice
for a 2200 and it did not work.

Moe the so called technician does not have any certifcates, or formal
training and he sells this rubber conditioner that could cause fraud such
making a black market if a customer of mine i would advice against it for
repairs just cleaning, he sells spare parts, from junked printers, Moe does
not even give phone help either, hes also very piggheaded too.

Once someone has a disagreement with some member he bans them, instead of
    respecting their opinions.

    Looking foward when he retires.
You can email me if you want a manual from me :)

Also Moe can attack people's integrity, the real reason that he took off the
service manuals is due to people taking too many manuals, he didnt like dat
if people did that he would been out of business, printer service companies
do these, Moe banned me from his forum because I was getting to close to his
    knowledge.

He also does not Australians either, he attacked my integrity publicly on
the website, and it wasnt fair at all, this was called forum bullying so I
    had to leave.

Also he managed to have other members to attack my integrity and it wasnt
nice at all, so I felt pushed out.

He took off those service manuals to prevent people to become techs.

You can get service manuals from ebay.com and have it on CD-ROM.

Thats the best solution I can give, forget about fixyourownprinter.com the
website is useless, Moe is a rude, crude and nasty man.

He doesnt even want to talk about support on the phone, what a low life
    loser.
