Ricoh Aficio 2018D: Does not recognize or register new toner tubes.

Greetings! I did perform a few searches both here and on the net before posting, but I apologize if this is a repost in any way.

During my time of using this unit, we've had (1) successful toner replacement in a year of daily use. I buy our toner tubes from the same company that supplied us with that (1) successful toner change.

Doing a total unit reset is not the hottest idea in this scenario, but I can and would do a print reset if such an option is available. I've already done the "remove new toner > put old tube back in printer > wait 10 minutes > remove old and re-insert new"-task several times as well as the...

... Turn off main power > Unplug cord > Leave for 10 min. > Plug in power > insert new toner > press main power button on unit.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
