Scanner driver needed for Canon MP530

I have a Canon MP530 MF AIO. To set up the printer with Windows XP Home Prem, I visited the Canon Download site and thought I'd obtained the full driver set. The printer works fine. The scanner does not. When I pull up MP Navigator, the computer reports that the scanner driver isn't loaded. I realized that there are two seperate "devices" involved. I went back to the Canon Download site. It's not there. Or it's well hidden amongst the several other offerings there. I think it's called "ScanGear" but can't be sure as there's no information specific to it.

Does anyone know where Canon places the scanner driver software?

Nevermind - it installs if you leave the printer connected - no what Canon tells you in the install path, BTW...
