Should I replace my printer

Hi - I have an HP Officejet 7210 All-in-One. It has been behaving nicely since I bought it but now it intermittently makes a crackling sound, a bit like static, and I can't increase the volume. For example when I send a fax I can hardly hear the dialling tone. Also the document feeder often jams and I have to fax individual pages from the glass. I enquired about servicing but was told if parts were required they might not be available. I'm thinking maybe I should just buy a new one. Can anyone recommend a printer, copier, scanner and fax preferably one that uses less expensive inkjets but is of similar quality.
