Hi all, if there is anyone on here that has a Versalink C7120 (or other Versalink models) would you be kind enough to open the document feeder top cover and take a photo please. I had a small plastic rod break (a Xerox engineer call out was quoted at £678.00 !!!), I managed to glue the broken rod back together (I think there should have been a spring which seems to have dissapeared) so I have made up a spring. The feeder works but if I just want to place something on the scanning tray, when I press scan it tels me there is a jam in the feeder, so obviously something is not quite right. Can't seem to get any support from Xerox or diagram of how it should be nor spare parts. A photo of a similar one may help me fix it but also does anyone know if it is possible to get small spare parts like this. See attached photos. Thank you.

Managed to get what I needed from Xentair International Ltd. Was a bit expensive but came quickly.

Model is a Phaser 7500 (Laser).

Hey! Sounds like a tricky situation. The jam issue could be due to that missing spring or maybe the glue job is causing it to misalign a bit. I'd suggest checking if the feeder mechanism is moving freely when you manually rotate it. Sometimes a small part might be off-center and triggering the sensor. As for spare parts, you might want to look on eBay or places like Parts Drop for smaller components. Good luck!
