Hi,
I have a Canon pixma mp170, which I bought second-hand. After getting it up and running, I recieved the 'low black ink' message, so I filled the cartridge, and ran MPTool to reset the ink level message. After shutting the printer down, I now get a garbled display screen, which is an unrecognizeable text ....... so.... I'm assuming that I botched the MPTool proceedure. Has anyone seen this before, and..... can it be rectified? The printer will not print. When I try to print... I'm told that it is off line.
Thanks,
..... john
