I have an Epson ET-2711 printer using a wireless connection to a Windows 10 computer. It prints fine when asked to. I tend to leave it on throughout the day when my computer is running.
Whilst idle, it periodically springs to life and does things - Making various whirring noises as it does so. It also periodically executes a document scan even though this has not been requested and there is nothing on the scanner glass.
Is this sort of behavior normal for this printer model?
What is it doing?
Any insight most welcome.
