I just replaced the cartridge in my good ol' HP 2100TN laser printer. The printer works great, good copies coming out -- BUT the orange error light is on. It is not blinking, but steady. I have tried reinserting the cartridge, turning the printer on and off, but no joy. Interestingly the old cartridge was a Staples compatible and it worked great, and no orange error light. The replacement cartridge is an HP cartridge. Both cartridges are labeled the same: 96A.
