Brother iprint&scan MFC-j6930dw scan to email opens Google

The oddest thing happens now when I try to scan to email after scan completes mac studio sonoma 14 opens Google browser...it worked fine before today and not sure what would case this to occur,,,tired to r/r iprint app with no success....also shortcut buttons on printer results are the same,,,same when using the app email button....now I cannot send a scanned doc via email as Google constanty opens...scan to email is selected in setup options...any insight appreciated

Okay I found the issue...and I DID NOT MAKE THIS CHANGE and I am the only user of this computer....the default email reader setting in the mail settiing was set to Chrome....I have no idea how this could have been changed,,,computers do the weirdest things
