Brother MFC-7340 driver uninstall problem

I am trying to uninstall the utilities package for Brother MFC-7340 on my new laptop with Windows 11 OS. I want to be able to turn the windows core isolation security back on. I went to Brothers website and downloaded the uninstall program and used it. It apparently ran successfully but left behind one file (BrUsbSib.sys Windows\System 32\drivers). Took out the other three files that had loaded that I had identified. Ran the uninstall again, same thing. Rebooted laptop, same thing. So I still can't get the core isolation security tab to enable. Anybody else run into this problem? Any advice as to how to get rid of this last file? Thanks much for any thoughts/advice. RJH

Yeah, I had the same issue with a Brother driver lingering. That BrUsbSib.sys file is stubborn. I had to boot into Safe Mode and manually delete it from the System32\drivers folder. After that, core isolation finally let me turn it back on. Just be careful and maybe back up before deleting system files. Good luck!

Thanks so much for this comment. I spend several wasted hours on the phone with Brother's support who were ultimately of no help. Your advice/experience is very much in line with what I suspected needed to happen. Confirmation that it worked for you is really great to know so I can proceed. Thanks again!
