Canon Pixma TS1350

I have an iMac with OS catalina and my printer has just stopped working. There is no amber light or error message. I've switched off and on, checked the usb connection, deleted and reinstalled the printer, but nothing works. When I click print and open the print queue, it says "error messages will appear on the printer one by one", but there is no error message on the printer.

I don't know what to try next as there is no error message to work from.

Any help appreciated.
