Canon TS5351i lockup

My canon printer keeps locking up with the message “processing please wait momentarily “ no error code. Waiting for hours doesn’t see the message disappear. Printer used wirelessly. Switching of and on just brings back the message. Any suggestions for a solution would be greatfully received.

Had the same issue with my Canon. What fixed it for me was unplugging it completely (not just turning it off), leaving it for a minute, then powering it back on without any Wi-Fi connection first. Once it fully booted, I reconnected it to my network and it stopped getting stuck on that ‘processing’ screen. Also worth clearing any stuck print jobs on your computer. Hope it helps!

It’s usually a stuck print job or firmware freeze, so pull the power plug for 2–3 minutes and clear the print queue, and it should boot normally again.
