Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone will be able to help. I have a Canon TS6360 printer/scanner that is producing unrealistic weird looking scan results. When I scan an old color photo for example, with a brownish red brick wall in the background, the brick wall comes out as black bricks along with unrealistic weird contrast issues with even the people in the foreground eg. skin color is also black in places. I have reset the printer to the default factory setting but this doesn't help. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Paul, that definitely sounds like a scanner calibration or driver issue. I’d try reinstalling the Canon scanning software and drivers from their website (not just using Windows defaults). Also check if “Auto Tone” or any image correction features are turned on in the scan settings those can sometimes overcorrect older photos. Good luck!
