I just purchased this scanner. I have a Macbook Pro Lap top. I loaded the CD and received the ALERT that did not have the 'programme' for OS Sequoia 15.5 and to contact Epson, which I did. They sent me the 'driver'? and I successfully loaded it. Alas it didn't work. I contacted Epson support, with the following conclusion. The scanner is not communicating with the computer. They want me to contact Apple and get a different USB cable. I did not purchase this scanner at Value Village and I have no intention of trying to make it work. Has anybody had this problem, if so how do i get around it?
Thanks,
Barry

Hey Barry, yeah I had a similar issue with my Epson scanner on Sequoia 15.5. Turns out the driver Epson sent wasn’t fully compatible. What worked for me was downloading the latest ICA Scanner Driver and Epson Scan 2 directly from Epson’s support site don’t rely on the CD. Also, make sure the scanner is plugged directly into the Mac, not through a hub. I used a USB-C to USB-A adapter from Apple and that fixed the connection issue. Hope that helps!
