Does replacing a printhead involve more than simply switching hardware such as software, firmware. printhead pressure adjustment? That last one sounds strange but that's what I've read. Do cheaper printheads work as well as expensive ones? All help is appreciated, thanks.

Well to be honest it depends from device to device some devices need the afterwork and some don’t when you change the printhead. I have neve used the Epson WF 7110 but yes you might need to update the firmware and make changes in the settings if you are changing the print or ink cartridges in the machine. In addition, while replacing the printhead make sure they are inserting perfectly on your device. Also, you can use the cheaper print heads if you want but it is not always recommended.
