Epson XP-970 (XP970) T3661 waste refill tank bypass or chip resetter.

The newer model of the XP950-960 etc.is the xp-970. I'm looking to bypass or reset the the ink waste reservior
chip. Will the a cartridge chip resetter work on the waste tank?
Also as the xp970 is the newest version I seem to only find items for the 950-960. Not sure if these resetters will work on xp970?
Perhaps someone has crossed this bridge before me?

There are T3661 Compatible resetters on Aliexpress

Typically you will find the chip (Timer Chip counts usage) on your waste box is the same used on other model's ink cartridges . Basically the chips are shared amongst many models

I use replacement chips for waste tank t3661 not a rosette. No resetter seemed compatible when asked reserters specifically for 970/t3661.(prior to covid mar/2020)
Didn't follow up on 90ninety suggestion as I already had ample chips to use up.
