Epson XP700 - wont lift paper after jam

Hi Guys

Hope someone can help me with my son's Epson XP700.

It has been working fine, and suffered a paper jam on the exit which was my fault.

I carefully pulled through, in the same direction as the normal path, the paper to clear the jam.

I cannot see any remnants of paper left inside.

Problem now is that the printer will not lift paper from the tray - and claims out of paper.

I purchased the Epson service manual but its not very helpful showing you exactly what and how the mechanism works (unlike the R3000 manual which I have too).

The pick up rollers dont turn, but if I turn them, I can see the clutch moving behind the park position for the cartridges - so I am looking at a possible clutch problem. Quite how that appears from a jam, I dont understand.

Anyway - any guidance would be appreciated.
