Hewlett Packard Cartidge Refilling

Hello,

This is my first post to the forum.

I've just bought a Hewlett Packard Laserjet 4000, and 5M, and will likely soon buy a 4200 as well.

I would like to know where I can find information on the type of toner I need, where I can order it from, how much it should cost, how to refill, & etc.

Basically I've never done this before so I'd like to know where I can find all the information I need.

You have three main options for your cartridges. You can buy original (made by HP), you can my compatible / remanufactured (made by a third party not HP) or can buy a refill kit and do it yourself. I would not recommend the thrid option! Depending on the quality you require the good quality compatible cartridge is great. I would recommend running an original cartridge through the machine every 3-5 toner changes. The cartridges you are looking for are:
Laserjet 4000 - C4127A and C4127X ( low and high yield)
Laserjet 4200 - Q1338A
