To connect Canon printer to Wi-Fi, there are different methods you can use. One method is to use the WPS button on the router and the printer.
Another method is to use a smart device and the Canon Print Inkjet app to send the router information to the printer. A third method is to use the Settings button on the printer and select Device settings and LAN Wireless Set Up.

Here are some steps you can follow:

  1. Turn on your printer.
  2. Press the Settings button on your printer.
  3. Press the arrow button until you go to Device settings, press OK.
  4. Press the arrow button until you see LAN Settings, press OK.
  5. Press the arrow button until you see Wireless LAN Setup, press OK.
  6. Select Yes for wireless LAN setup.
  7. Select your wireless network name and enter your password
If you still face any issues, you can try removing and re-adding your printer in Windows by going to Settings> Devices> Printers & Scanners. Next, select your printer and remove it. Now, click the ‘Add a printer’ button to re-add your printer

Turn on the printer and make sure that it is connected to the power.
Press the Setup button on the printer's control panel.
Use the arrow buttons to select Network Settings and press the OK button.
Select Wireless and press the OK button.
Select Manual Wireless Setup and press the OK button.
Enter the SSID (network name) and password for your Wi-Fi network and press the OK button.
The printer will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. If the connection is successful, the printer will display a message saying "Connection successful."

Greetings,
Peter
