HP 2420 49 FF95 Error after Updating Firmware

I upgraded the Printer HP 2420 via USB cable (Through exe File provided by HP)


All went well I guess , but when i restarted the printer it gave me the following error


"RFU Load Error/download file"

Then i followed the post and cleared the RFU error according to the post

Then after that im getting the error

49 .FF95 Service error ,and the printer stays in that condition


1. I performed a cold reset
2. Tried to send the file (RFU) Via LPT1 but the printer displays the same message instead of (receiving Update) and after some time the DOS prompt gives the message sending failed .
3. Also turned off the and disabled the LAN




How can i now send the RFU file to the printer now ? , in what mode should i put the printer

I would start by removing the old driver, and make sure the print Que is empty.
Did you upgrade the firmware? If not I would.
