Hp Envy 6120e

Have just purchased this printer Hp Envy 6120e not sure if I made the right decision , can anybody tell me if the top cartridge/scanner is very difficult to open and close my one seems very tieght when pulling open then loud click ,is this standard.?

Done. More research on this problem ,checked in more stores it seem as though they are all the same hard to open very tieght.
