Hi
I have decided on getting a multi-function monochrome laser printer. I have shortlisted the 2 - HP Laserjet Pro M1136 and
Canon image class MF3010.
Monochrome because I don't do much color prints. It's for my office(personal - as I am self-employed). I have an inkjet but the cartridges turn out to be expensive on the long run. I also need scanning ability hence MFP. I have heard that HP M1136 is the same as Canon's MF3010 since Canon supplies to HP. But then if that is the case why do I read in the specs that the media size supported by the Canon are A4, A5 and B5. Does it mean I cannot set a custom sized paper for printing?
ANother plus for HP printer is that it has a facility for duplex printing(manual of course). So I am confused at what to get. Cost-wise there isn't much of a difference.
If someone can help me resolve my conflict, I'll be glad. Thanks.
