After my MFC-J475DW quit, I replaced it with an older MFC-255CW, The ControlCenter 4 software does not recognize the replacement printer. I downloaded and installed the full software package for the MFC-255CW (it did not install Controlcenter 3)

I can print to the replacement but can not operate the scan functions from my computer Windows 10 on a AMD motherboard.

I have several documents to scan for transmission as attachments. Any suggestions will be appreciated and tried.
