Posted last week that my Epson X-4200 stopped printing after a paper jam. I thought it had something to do with the firmware update that disabled many Epson printers). Screen was saying that 2 of my color cartridges (red and yellow) were empty.
So I ordered a pack of new Epson cartridges—red, yellow, and blue—black was still full). Installed new cartridges & the page came out blank.
(I thought the firmware update that blocked any 3rd party cartridges). I have always used only the genuine expensive Epson ink.
Unplugged the printer for about 20 minutes & plugged it back in. Cleaned the printer head nozzles & now the printer is working like new!
